This bar is made with Nettle and Sweet Violet infused into Hemp and Olive Oils and Spring Water, saponified with ground Oats and Wildflower Alpine Honey. Full of minerals, Nettle helps to tone our skin and regulate sebum production. Sweet Violet is cooling and soothing for dry, flaking, dehydrated skin that so many of us are left with after cold dry winters. Violet is moisturizing and supports lymphatic health by reducing swollen lymph nodes and helping these interstitial fluids move through our skin’s elimination pathways. The ground oats impart their mucilage, complementing Violets demulcent properties and soothing actions. Adding honey to soap in the right way causes it and the bar to caramelize as it hardens, resulting in this deepening of all the ingredients and a sweet, toasted scent. Nettle and Violet are both abundant early spring herbs that complement the needs of the season. Made for all bodies and especially supportive for people with ‘sensitive’ skin. This bar is made with the long game in mind—where would we be without the support of these nourishing, rugged, wild plants? To care for soap simply have a space & dish where it can rest & fully dry in between uses. Keep out of the stream of running water when not in use. Can be used directly on body or lathered on hands/ in a cloth.

*Sodium Hydroxide, otherwise known as Lye, is an ingredient essential in hard soap making which chemically causes saponification. It completely transforms in the process and no lye remains in the fully cured soap bar.
