Named after a people’s dance from Puglia that takes on many forms—Pizzica—at times a courtship dance, other times a communal celebration dance, and at its root and to this day a sacred healing dance. Invoking the Spider, symbolically and in form, these dances epitomize the connection we have with the Earth, our bodies as the site of revolution, and our ability to dissolve boundaries and come together to support each other in our shared struggles.
