This bar is made from Ginger & Turmeric Root and the resinous Blooms of Calendula, each grown in our medicine garden. The fresh ginger & turmeric roots are decocted in spring water, and the calendula blooms are infused into organic small batch hemp & olive oils. The plants included have a strong affinity for our skin, helping to modulate inflammation, move lymph, and promote circulation. This is a tried and true soap I’ve been making for years, well suited for the transition from summer to fall with its warming, comforting nature.

All Plants grown at Terracotta. Soap handmade from scratch by the Cold Process Method with Whole Plant Medicinal Extracts. Integrity of plant ingredients preserved by keeping soapmaking temperatures low. No artificial ingredients or added fragrance. Always Organic & Wild. Cured for a minimum of 6 weeks.

To care for soap simply have a space & dish where it can rest & fully dry in between uses. Keep out of the stream of running water when not in use. Can be used directly on body or lathered on hands/ in a cloth.

*Sodium Hydroxide, otherwise known as Lye, is an ingredient essential in hard soap making which chemically causes saponification. It completely transforms in the process and no lye remains in the fully cured soap bar.
